Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is conducted under simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only document to be issued. A formal solicitation WILL NOT be issued. This Notice incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-02. RFQ 673-90F-05-0027 should be referenced on the quote. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 421450 and the small business size standard is 100 Employees. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. This procurement is a Brand Name only. No substitutes shall be accepted. Requirement: 31 individual systems, Linear & Convex Array Portable Ultrasound System, Manufacture by Esaote 100 (a/k/a SmartSound 900. Each system Configuration: 1 EA #410477 Falco 100 Console, 1 EA #402217 External Keyboard, 1 EA #410638 3.5/5.0, R40 Convex Array Probe, 1 EA #410647 8.0MHz, 40MM, Linear Array Probe, 1 EA Bottle Transmission Gel, 2 Sets Service Manual, 2 EA Operators Manual, Only FOB Destination offers will be accepted. Preference to FSS schedule holders, if any, will be observed. CLAUSES The provisions at FAR 52.212 1, Instructions of Offeror Commercial Items (Jan 2005) applies to this acquisition. There is not an addenda to these provisions. The clauses at FAR 52.212 4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items (Oct 2003) applies to this acquisition. There is an addenda to this clause.
