- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Certified Softball Officials prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F33601-05-T-0082, is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This soliciation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-02. The acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The associated standard industrial classification (SIC) code is 8641 and the North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 713990. The small business size standard is $6,000. This requirement has one line item: Item 0001, Furnish Certified Officials for scheduled intramural softball games for the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Sports Department. PLEASE NOTE THE SUSPENSE DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF CAPABILITIES PACKAGES IS 1 April 2005. The Base Fitness Center at Wright-Patterson AFB OH, anticipates a competitive acquisition for a Certified Official for the Softball Intermural scheduled games. This sources sought synopsis is issued to determine if there are contractors capable of and interested in supplying the required service and to ascertain the size standard (small or large business) of those interested and capable firms. Minimum qualificaion requirements are attached. CAPABILITIES PACKAGE: All interested firms should submit a capabilities package that outlines their firm?s capabilities to provide the required service. The capabilities package should include enough information on a firm?s proposed Certified Official for the Softball Intermural scheduled games in order for the Government to determine if it meets the minimum requirements.
