- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division intends to purchase on a sole source basis LynxOS Development System software and tools from Lynuxworks, 6701 Democracy BLvd, Suite 300, Bethesda, MD 20817 . This software is required to develop/demonstrate a version of the Gun Computer System Mk 160 running in a LynxOS real-time POSIX conformant environment to meet the Navy's Open Architecture (OA) standard. Lynuxworks is the only company that produces and supports the proprietary LynxOS product. Th! e order shall be firm fixed. FOB Destination shall apply. The quotation number is N00178-05-Q-1140. The closing date is April 13, 2005 at 2p.m. EST. This procurement is DO priority rated. The NAICS code is 541511 and the size standard is $21M. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, this synopsis will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/supply. DoD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database.
