NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. PRON: AX5C0209AX, NSN: 3110-01-325-4964, PN: 145DS50 1-4, QTY: Min: 33 ea, Max: 99 ea. This requirement is RESTRICTED to Boeing Company and MRC Bearing. This requirement is a Base Year Plus 2-Year Option, applicable to the CH-47, with deliveries to Stockton, CA 95296-0130. This IS a Critical Safety Item. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activitys procedures , as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. A Contractor First Article IS required. Pr oduction Lead-time with First Article Testing is 33 each, 401 DACA. Production Lead-time without First Article Testing is 33 each, 267 DACA. Production Lead-time with Article II Clause is 33 each, 334 DACA. Firms that can produce the required item descri bed above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation requirements. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms a re reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. A ll responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. NOTES: 23 and 26
