Description

For performance of the MERHCF and CFO valuations, OACT will perform a significant portion of the valuations, and the contractor will primarily provide peer review. For additional tasks (analyses, studies, etc.) the contractor will be expected to per form these tasks in their entirety. In all work performed by the contractor for OACT, the contractor should: comply with actuarial standards of practice, consider industry practices and their relevance for DoD, balance precision and complexity with practi cality and appropriateness, use high quality and well documented actuarial tools, provide actuarial services of superior quality. While the use of DoD-specific data is generally preferred, contractor must have access to and familiarity with other normativ e data sources that can be shared with OACT and used in the absence of credible DoD-specific data.
