Description: The work consists of creating strategic fuel breaks 100 feet wide on both sides of designated road segments by thinning and limbing Ponderosa Pine trees, cutting juniper trees and machine gathering/piling both the resulting and pre-existing slash. Project site is located in the Burns District, Oregon. This solicitation includes an option that allows for increased quantities not to exceed fifty percent (50%) of the total contract price. Bonds are not required. This solicitation will be posted electronically. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is April 21, 2005.
