Description
The Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) intends to negotiate and award a Sole Source contract to Sensis Corporation, 5793 Widewaters Parkway, Dewitt, New York, 13214, Tel. (315) 445-0550, for Engineering and Technical Services. This contract will provide for the maintenance, sustainment, and as necessary, the updates of Sensis developed AN/TPS-59(V)3 components including the Expeditionary Mission Planner Radar Optimizer (EMPRO), original Radar Environmental Simulator (RES), and Portable Autonomous Radar Collection System (PARCS). The contract will also provide for support in the areas of AN/TPS-59(V)3 integration with External Interfaces including Cueing Capabilities, the Composite Tracking Network (CTN), the Combat Air Command and Control System (CAC2S), and sensor netting. Furthermore, this contract shall provide for technology development, risk reduction, software integration, system/subsystem and component integration, and manufacture, maintenance, sustainment o! f tools and support equipment necessary for the operation and evaluation of the AN/TPS-59(V)3 and related legacy radar systems. Sensis Corporation is the prime contractor on the current Engineering and Support Service contract for AN/TPS-59(V) 3 Radar System, contract number M67854-00-C-2011. This contract shall provide for continued support in the areas of technical support and integration of the AN/TPS-59(V)3 Radar system into various Joint Theater Operations systems and other Marine Corps battlefield systems. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. Sensis Corporation is considered the only small business source capable of meeting this requirement. No RFP is available for competitive bidding; however, interested parties are encouraged to submit a statement of capability for satisfying this requirement. No telephonic requests will be accepted. All communications shall be in writing to the Contracting Officer and will only be used to consider whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Proprietary information shall be clearly identified as such and will be protected. See Numbered Note 22.
