Description
Documents RFP 618-136-05 and Drawings are issued as a services contract SET ASIDE FOR Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms, NAICS Code 238210, $12 million. The procurement is entitled “ELECTRICAL LOAD COORDINATION STUDY, BLDGS. 69 AND 70” for and at VA Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment to test all Unit Substations, Transformers (both liquid and dry), Circuit Breakers (molded, insulated and power types), Motor Control testing, Circuit Switch testing, Ground System testing, Ground Fault Protective System testing, Metal-Enclosed Busway testing, Thermal and Corona testing, Medium Voltage testing, Load Tap-Changer testing, Capacitor Bank testing and Automatic Transfer Switch testing, and other miscellaneous work as indicated on VA Station Drawings 1084 series and Specification 04-6; project deliverable shall include a Testing Report showing all items tested, the results of all testing, including a pass/fail status, and recommendations for correction, if necessary; witnessing personnel shall sign the field testing reports as they are performed. Accomplish all work within 120 calendar days of receipt of Notice to Proceed. Approximately 30% to 40% of the work may be accomplished during normal work hours (7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) with remaining work to be completed after hours. A SITE WALK IS SCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY, MAY 3, 2005 AT 9:00 A.M. CDST. Failure to attend this site walk will not relieve the successful offeror from all performance in accordance with specifications and drawings.
