Description

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Raytheon Company, Network Centric Systems,1001 Boston Post Road, Marlborough, MA 01752. This contract will require Raytheon to provide development and production of an X-Band field change upgrade kit for the Low Data Rate/Medium Data Rate (LDR/MDR) Extremely High Frequency (EHF) Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Follow-On Terminal (FOT), Submarine Variant (SubV) and Virginia Class Variant (VCV). Raytheon is the original manufacturer of the terminal and its variants. Requirements under this contract will include the design and development of X-Band field change kit engineering development models (EDMs), production X-Band field change kits, and integrated logistics support (ILS) data deliverables. The Government is not soliciting proposals in response to this synopsis. Government-wide Numbered Notes 22 and 26 apply.
