Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation, H92242-05-T-0024 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-27. The associated NAICS code is 336999 and small business size standard is unrestricted. Line Item 0001 P/N 57K3568 6.5 turbo engines with shipping containers for 2003 model M1113 High Mobile Multiuse Wheel vehicle(HMMWV) 2 each, Item 0002 4L80E transmissions for 2003 model M1113 High Mobile Multiuse Wheel Vehicle(HMMWV) 2 each, FOB Norfolk,VA. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition. Offerors are required to complete and include a copy of the following provision with their proposals: FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition as well as FAR 52.212-5(DEV) Contract Terms & Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, FAR 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration.
