Description

The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Columbia Plateau Conservation Research Center, at Pendleton, OR, requires an HVAC upgrade on their main building and annex, as follows: Mechanical upgrades to the existing ductwork distribution, VAV boxes, fume hoods and ancillary packaged heat pump unit. Also, architectural and electrical upgrades to comply with current codes. The existing corridor will be upgraded to a 1-hour fire rated exit corridor, requiring a new, fully-ducted return air system. New light fixtures to be installed in corridors where new gypsum board ceiling is installed. Additive item: Demolish existing acoustical ceiling system and replace with new acoustical ceiling system in multiple areas of building and annex, to be indicated in solicitation package. Davis-Bacon wage determination is applicable. Thie project is 100% unrestricted. The estimated price is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
