Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number assigned to this document is CT1715-05. This announcement constitutes the only written solicitation. This is a full and open competitive Request for Proposal. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 453220. The type of contract award resulting from this solicitation is a firm fixed price, requirements contract. Federal Prison Industries (UNICOR) is soliciting proposals for a contractor(s) to provide a copy of their catalog(s), which includes best discount pricing offer to the government. Samples may be requested for a comprehensive variety of promotional items., i.e., TROPHIES; PLAQUES; PENS; KEYCAHAINS; CALCULATORS; MUGS; WATERBOTTLES; KEYRINGS; PENSETS; CARDHOLDERS; CLOCKS; DESKPADS; UMBRELLAS; WRITING PAD; NON-FLUORESCENT HIGHLITERS; AWARDS; STRESS ITEMS; ETC. Incentive awards are to be delivered to F.O.B destination FCI Cumberland, 14601 Burbridge Rd, S.E., Cumberland, MD 21502. UNICOR will provide silk screening, acid/color fill process, Sand etching, engraving and Pad Printing. Offerors are advised that the Government intends to make multiple awards not to exceed 3 vendors. Upon award, each delivery order which exceeds $2,500.00 will be competed among the awardees, with the order being placed to the lowest bidder that meets the required delivery time. Contractor must be a national leader in the distribution, and sales of promotional items, and incentive awards with no fewer than five years of production experience. Period of Performance is date of award through 12 months and three (3) option years if exercised. Offerors are advised that award may be made without discussions. Award may be made to the responsible offeror(s) whose proposal is responsive to terms of the RFP and is most advantageous to the government. The time for receipt of proposal is 2:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time), on March 28, 2005.
