Description
NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the acquisition of a Non-Contact Interferometric Optical Surface Profiler Microscope to perform efficient surface metrology, at sub-nanometer resolution, of elements for x-ray grazing incidence reflection. The surfaces under consideration include metal-coated surfaces, as well as surfaces of thin glass. The general configuration of the system should enable the following tasks to be completed: • To measure surfaces coated with films such as of gold or platinum, or uncoated surfaces of thin (~0.3 mm) glass • To accommodate a sample with lateral dimension up to 20 cm x 20 cm • To be able to measure with resolution at 0.1 nanometer (nm) • With computer controlled, user-defined operation, to stitch consecutive multiple images in both lateral dimensions • To measure curved surfaces with radius of curvature down to 10 cm • To accommodate simultaneously and change 4 objectives This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for a Non-Contact Interferometric Optical Surface Profiler Microscope. SEE ATTACHED SPECIFICATIONS The government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. The government intends to acquire a commercial item using the procedures of FAR subpart 13.5- Special Test Program for Certain Commercial Items.
