Description

The 650th MI Group Digital Evidence Recovery Section at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), Belgium requires upgrade and renewal of their computer forensics software package.The applicable NAICS is 511210. The size standard is $18M. Th e government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Guidance Software, Inc., 215 North Marengo Ave., 2nd Floor, Pasadena, CA 91101. It is anticipated that a Firm Fixed Price contract will be awarded. Guidance Software, Inc. is the manufacturer of EnCase Computer Forensics Software. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, there is only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy the government agency requirement. This notice of intent is not a reque st for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit technical information and a technical capability statement in response to this notice. The Benelux Regional Contracting Office, may consider responses. Responses withou t a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. No phone calls will be acceptance. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contr actor Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
