- Description
- The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Technical Assistance is recruiting individuals on a competitive basis to serve as Intermittent or Resident Advisors under the Financial Enforcement Program for resident advisor positions in Bulgaria, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Serbia/Montenegro and intermittent advisor positions globally. QUALIFICATIONS: Treasury is seeking candidates who possess expertise in financial crime law enforcement issues, including the investigation of white collar crimes, money laundering, insurance and/or securities compliance, forensic accounting, internal controls, financial intelligence units, and principles and practices of program administration. Specific experience in such areas as interpreting and applying rules, regulations, policies and procedures, developing and implementing internal controls, proactively ensuring compliance and investigating potential administrative and criminal violations is desired. Prior experience working as an investigator or prosecutor, work overseas, training in challenging environments and foreign language fluency are helpful factors and should be highlighted. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or U.S. resident aliens. SALARY AND BENEFITS: Salaries will be negotiated in accordance with program regulations based on demonstrated salary history. The salary ranges are from $85,000 to $149,200. Overseas benefits are provided as allowed by Federal regulations. Successful applicants will be subject to a background investigation at the appropriate level.
