Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. The Request for Quotation number is HSCG89-05-Q-612319 and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-03. This acquisition is unrestricted. The NAICS is 334220. The small business sized standard is 750 employees. The contract type will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The Government proposes to solicit quotes for the following items. ITEMS/DESCRIPTIONS: All part numbers are TCI International Incorporated. P/N: 302-14-7.395 Transmitting Multicoupler-1 EA, P/N: 302-14-14.67 Transmitting Multicoupler-1 EA, P/N: 303-14-11.0, Transmitting Multicoupler-1 EA, P/N: 302-14-3.5 Transmitting Multicoupler-2 EA, P/N: 30214-19.76 Transmitting Multicoupler-2 EA, P/N: 303-14-9.5 Transmitting Multicoupler-2 EA and Storage for delivery at construction. Coast Guard requires 9(nine) HF multicouplers to use in three systems. Each system will quadplex four 10 Kw broadcast HF transmitter signal antenna. This solicitation is for the nine(9) MULTICOUPLERS ONLY. The systems have been designed to accommodate numerous required broadcast frequency ranges. Consequently, deviations from the frequency values listed that result in widening the stop bands are not acceptable. Deviations from the frequency values listed that result in narrowing the stop bands are acceptable. To ensure the multicouplers operate reliable over the anticipated 25-year minimum lifecycle, the multicouplers must be new and standard off-the-shelf commercial items. Used, remanufactured or refurbished multicouplers are not acceptable. Coast Guard requires that the multicouplers be delivered at the time they will be installed. This date is unknown at this time, but will be between 10 Sep 2005 and 01 Dec 2005. Coast Guard will notify manufacturer of the delivery date not less than 60 days before delivery is required. Coast Guard will not accept delivery before the specified delivery date. Multicouplers must meet the following minimum specifications: Frequency Range: 2-30 MHz, Stop(rejection) band frequency range(see below), number of channels(Inputs): 2, Power rating per channel: (see below), Channel isolation: 30 dB minimum, Input VSWR: 2:1 maximum, Maximum Load VSWR: 3:1 maximum, Input and Output impedance: 50ohms nominal, Input connectors: 1 5/8in EIA Flange, Output connector: 1 5/8in EIA flange or 3 1/8in EAI flange, Ambient Air Temperature: 4 to 27 degrees Celsius, Cooling: Ambient air cooling using natural convection air flow only.
