Description

Requirements Type Contract for dairy products for delivery to Fort Knox, Kentucky during the period 01 July 2005 thru 30 June 2006. Miscellaneous dairy, fluid milk and ice cream products for a total of 31 line items. Estimated annual quantities for the contract are as follows: 1,586 containers of buttermilk, 100,212 pounds of cottage cheese, 5,424 pints of sour cream, 661 containers of eggnog, 3,000 containers of ice milk mix, 100,000 half pint containers of low fat chocolate milk, 65,000 gallon siz e containers of low fat chocolate milk, 10,000 half pint container of whole milk, 90,940 gallon low fat milk, 200,000 half pint low fat, 306,561 half pint of skim milk, 1,000 gallons of skim milk, 269,756 containers of yogurt, 75,000 gallons of 100% orange juice, 40 containers of 16 oz sour cream, 144 containers of whip cream and 12 line items of assorted ice cream novelty products. Contractor will furnish products manufactured by firms approved and currently listed in the Directory of Sanitarily Approved Food Establishments for Armed Forces Procurement. Contractor will deliver to approximately 15 different locations. This acquisition is unrestricted. Award will be made to the lowest priced, responsive responsible offeror. No paper copies of this solici tation will be issued. This solicitation will post on the Fort Knox Homepage website at: http://www.knox.army.mil (click on contracting opportunities) on or about 19 April 2005 with bids due on or about 05 May 2005. Please note these dates are subject t o change. All amendments to solicitation will be likewise posted to this website. Contractor are cautioned to check this website for amendments. No solicitation mailing will be complied. Faxed bids will not be accepted.
