- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. W9127Q-05-T-002 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition C ircular 04-25. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516 size standard is 500 employees. The Government is requesting quotes on four (4) each water quality monitors. Specifications for Water quality sensor consisting of the following specifications: Continuous water quality monitor for long-term monitoring and profiling. Sampling the following parameters and the listed minimum specifications: 1. Temperature: Range -5 t o 70 degrees Celsius, Resolution 0.01 degree Celsius, Accuracy +/- 0.15 degree Celsius; 2. Specific Conductance: Range 0 to 100 mS/cm, Resolution 0.001 to 0.1mS/cm (range dependent), Accuracy +/- % of reading +0.001 mS/cm; 3. Vented Level: Range 0 to 30 f eet (0 to 9 m), Resolution 0.001 feet (0.0003 m), Accuracy +/- 0.01 feet (0.003m); 4. Turbidity: Range 0 to 1,000 NTU, Resolution 0.1 NTU, Accuracy +/- 2% of reading or 0.3 NTU, Depth 200feet (60.96 m), Self cleaning monitor. Monitor should be capable of logging all parameters at programmable intervals at least down to15 minutes between readings. Monitor should be field downloadable using cable connection. Monitor should be data capable of being interpreted using EcoWatch for Windows. The monitor should have field replaceable sensors. The monitor should be capable of adding up to a total of 16 parameters being simultaneously monitored. The sensor must be verified by the U.S. EPA Environmental Technology Verification Program. The systems should meet or exceed the quality of a YSI 6920 Sondes. Items are to be delivered to Joint Forces Headquarters-Environmental, Captain Lemire, 1410 Riverside Drive, Jackson, Mississippi 39296.
