Description

DESC: The item to be procured is a Guide, Chain for the M242 Gun, NSN: 1005-01-170-2185, Part Number 12524085. Material is 4130 Steel Bar, Overall size is 7.76 inches X 2.28 inches X 1.76 with close tolerance machining of slots and a chromium coatin g applied. The M242 chain guide serves as a mounting base for numerous mechanical linkages essential for proper functioning and firing of the M242 Gun. Guides that dont meet the exacting requirements of drawing 12524085 are not suitable for use. FOB is Destination, Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. Estimated issue date is 9 May 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
