Description

The work consists of maintenance dredging of the following harbors: Hickman, KY; New Madrid, MO; Caruthersville, MO; Osceola, AR; Memphis, TN; Helena, AR or at any point on the Mississippi River between Cape Girardeau MO (Mile 48 UMR) and Greenville , Mississippi (Mile 537 AHP). Material dredged from these harbors shall be discharged into the river or be retained in disposal areas by retaining dikes and box-type spillways as directed. Estimated cost 1,000,000.00 - $5,000,000.00. The solicitation will issue on or about 29 April 2005, Bid Opening date 2 June 2005, 2:30 p.m. local time and place. Specifications are available to download from the WEB ONLY at http://www.mvm.usace.army.mil. There will be no paper copies or CDs available. YOU WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO REGISTER AS A PLANHOLDER TO SHOW THAT YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED THE PACKAGE. THIS WILL ALLOW US TO NOTIFY INTERESTED PARTIES IN THE EVENT THAT AN AMENDMENT IS ISSUED. NAICS Code: 237990, this procurement is being solicited as UNRESTR ICTED. NOTE: EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2005, ALL CONTRACTORS WHO SUBMIT AN OFFER/BID IS REQUIRED TO REGISTER IN THE ONLINE REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS APPLICATION (ORCA).
