- Description: This acquisition is a competitive set-aside for certified 8(a) small business concerns in the Small Business Administration Region VIII, which includes: Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming. This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237310, with a standard size of $28.50M. This project involves security fence repair and contours restoration, to include: regarding, resurfacing and replacing culvers at Missile Launch Facilities (LF?s) and Missile Alert Facilities (MAF?s) located in the states of Nebraska, Wyoming and Colorado under the control of F.E. Warren AFB, Wyoming. The Base Civil Engineering Office will identify construction requirements and the installation Contracting Officer will issue individual delivery orders to the contractor to complete those projects. The Contractor shall perform all items of work covered and stipulated in each delivery order and furnish all materials, equipment and personnel necessary to design, manage and accomplish the project. It is the Governments intent to award a one-year basic contract with two one-year option periods. There will be a winter exclusion period for this project starting 1 November through 30 April. The successful offeror will be selected based on a Best Value Decision, with the intent of utilizing Price/Performance Tradeoff procedures. This solicitation will only be available via the Internet, at the following address: www.eps.gov. Select EPS for Vendors then select the following items for each subsequent index: USAF-OFFICES; Air Force Space Command-OFFICES; 90 Contracting-Posted Dates. When the solicitation is downloaded, it is important to read the solicitation COMPLETELY as there are MILESTONES that MUST be met by the prospective offeror in order for their proposal to be considered responsive. There will be no pre-announcement of when the solicitation will be available, however, the issuance date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or about 06 May 2005, with a closing date 30 days after issuance.
