- This amendment is issued to: A. To extend the quote due date from April 15, 2005 to April 19, 2005, 2:00 ET. B. To provide answers to questions submitted. Please see attachment 1. Questions To 05MSD7039 / 05MSD7040 1. Question: I noticed there no provisions for the use of a sound engineer. Were you planning on utilizing one? Answer: No, nat sound only. 2. Question: With only a few days to gather information and turn in the proposal, and without much information pertaining to the details of the shoot, could you tell me if there is an existing contractor that has worked on a previous contract that is familiar with the project already? Answer: No. 3. Question: I?m wondering if all offerors will be working from the same limited details of the shoot. That leads to the bigger question. Are there more details of the shoots available? Answer: No, these are exteriors only. 4. Question: For example, are there inside shots in addition to the exteriors, or any difficult terrain or locations including difficult to light areas that we should consider? Answer: No. 5. Question: Will the shoots use live actors where we will have to capture audio from one or more actors in the same scene, and is ambient noise something that must be captured? Answer: Live actors will be Government workers. Ambient noise only or nat sound. 6. Question: Who will be directing the shoots? Answer: Thomas Ward. 7. Question: Who will be editing the videos, or will that eventually be offered as another contract? Answer: The Government will be editing the videos. There will not be another contract offered. 8. Question: Are you looking for local contractors only? Answer: No. 9. Question: Do you already have scripts, can I get a copy of them and if so, how long is each video? Answer: No, a copy of the script is not available, each script is approximately 20 minutes. 10. Question: Are you doing the editing in NM? Answer: No. 11. Question: Is there any vehicles involved in the shooting of the videos, and if so, who supplies them? Both videos? Answer: Yes, and the government supplies vehicles for both videos. 12: Question: Is there talent..e.g. Drivers? ,actors playing hurt? EMS personnel? ETC. If so who pays them? Answer: There will be Government actors and the Government pays them. 13. Question: Is there any wardrobe for the talent involved? Answer: Wardrobe is provided by the Government. 14. Question: What airport is Artesia, NM? Answer: You will need to fly into Roswell, NM. 15. Question: Do you anticipate needing a lighting truck for the shoot? Answer: No. 16. Question: Are you sure Beta SP is acceptable as a shooting format? Answer: Yes. 17. Question: You estimate two 5-day shoots. Can you give me a minimum for each shoot, and an idea of a maximum? Answer: The maximum will be 5 days each. We may finish a day early for the second video. 18. Additional Information: Vendors should know that some of the shooting will take place in the cars and from a helicopter that will be provided.
