Description

The National Data Buoy Center (NDBC), Stennis Space Center, MS has a requirement for 8-strand, plaited nylon rope. This requirement is for 210 reels of 3/4 inch, 30 reels of 7/8 inch, and 30 reels of 1 inch rope. The rope must meet the NDBC Specification for Procurement of 8-Strand Plaited Nylon Rope. Rope shall be pre-stretched in accordance with Appendix B of specification. The specification and RFQ are included as attachment links under this announcement. Shipments shall be delivered FOB-Destination to Stennis Space Center, MS. All documentation and certifications shall be delivered to and approved by NDBC prior to any shipment. FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds and 52.225-1 Buy American Act-Supplies apply to this acquisition. 52.232-18 Availability of Funds (Apr 1984) Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government?s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
