- The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires a contractor to perform Real Estate Closing Services for the sale of its single family properties (1 to 4 units) located in the following north central counties of New York State: Monroe, Wayne, Livingston, Ontario, Seneca, Yates, Steuben, Schuyler and Chemung. Sales must be closed within a stipulated timeframe and prompt and accurate payment of all closing charges made. Complete closing packages must be submitted to HUD?s designee no later than the second business day after closing. The contractor must have key personnel who is/are member(s) of the New York State Bar and have an office located in the area served at the time of contract performance. The contract will be for a base period of one year with three (3) one year option periods. This solicitation is set-aside for SMALL BUSINESSES, which classify as small businesses under NAICS code 541990 a size standard of $6 million dollars average annual sales. The RFP will be available on or about 15 days after this notice is published in the FedBizOpps with proposals due approximately 30 days thereafter. This notice and RFP will be posted on HUD?s Internet Home Page at http:/www.hud.gov/offices/cpo/contract.cfm. Potential offerors who download copies of the solicitation from HUD?s Internet Site will not automatically receive any amendments to the solicitation. You are advised to check the web site frequently to see if HUD has issued any amendments to the solicitation you have obtained. All amendments will be posted to the FedBizOpps and the HUD Homepage Contracting Opportunities site.
