Description

The solicitation issue date is on or about March 10, 2005. A pre-proposal conference and site visit walk-through is tentatively scheduled for two days on or about March 29, 2005 and March 30, 2005. Attendance at the pre-proposal conference is not mandatory, but it is highly suggested. The solicitation due date is on or about April 15, 2005. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to monitor this site for the solicitation and amendments. The base period is for three years and tentatively covers the period from October 1, 2005 through September 30, 2008 with two option periods anywhere from one-year through three-years depending on Contractor’s performance. The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies and equipment (except as otherwise provided), and shall plan, schedule, coordinate and assure effective performance of Operations, Maintenance & Other Services requirements including, but not limited to, management of operations & maintenance services; operations of facility systems & equipment; performance planning; management of equipment and repair program; documentation; record keeping & reporting; communication with tenants to ensure customer satisfaction; providing technical expertise; maintaining equipment inventory; warranty compliance; building entry field devices including back-up battery, field wiring, mechanical/electrical latches and sensors, and card readers; and integration with other building service functions. Work excluded from this contract is vertical transportation systems (elevators); tenant agency equipment (computers, office furniture, special program equipment, office machines, systems furniture lightings and/or copier equipment); motherboard, software and key cards. This procurement is a full and open Performance base Commercial item utilizing FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 15 Source Selection procedures with award based on “Best Value”. Pre-Qualification based on Capacity to Perform and Past Performance shall be used to determine the competitive range.
