Uptergrove, 661-275-7819 (fax) DESC: The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to EverestVIT, Inc., 199 US Highway 206, Flanders NJ 07836-4500. This acquisition is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 334519. The following item will be procured: This acquisition is to acquire (1) Video Probe XL Pro-Advanced Digital Model; (1) Retrieval Tool Kit; (1) Tip Optic-7mm; and One Year Warranty. The portable video probe is required to perform visual inspections in very confined spaces on aircraft. Video probe is required to have the exact form, fit, and function as the EverestVIT unit offering a handheld controller with imagery capture. EverestVIT, Inc. owns the proprietary data on these units. They are the only known source that can satisfy the Government?s requirement of mobility, utility, upgrade, on-site preparation, training, and technical support. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. In addition, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Anticipated Award date is April 27, 2005. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 4:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, April 26, 2005. Responses should be submitted to: Directorate of Contracting, AFFTC/PKT (Attn: Mary Uptergrove, 5 South Wolfe Avenue, Building 2800, Edwards AFB, CA 93524-1185, Fax: (661) 275-7819). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within 8 days of the publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Facsimile responses are acceptable and must be received on or before the closing date. Telephone requests to be placed on a mailing list will not be honored.
