- PEO Ammo desires to identify a turn-key contractor for the modernization of the nitric acid concentrator/sulfuric acid concentrator (NAC/SAC) at a TBD site. The facility must be capable of processing spent acid ranging in composition from 0-50% nitric acid and 30-70% sulfuric acid. The facility must be rated for 500 TPD of 99% nitric acid and 402 TPD of 93% sulfuric acid. Contractors are encouraged to consider the use of the most advanced available technology so long as it has been demonstrated in a full-scale facility. The desired life expectancy is 20 years. The purpose of this survey is to identify contractors having the proven capability to design, build and prove-out such a facility. At a minimum, responders should provide the following: reference for prior NAC/SAC design and construction, representative project schedule, budgetary cost estimate, proposed turn-down capability, interface (utility) requirements. Proprietary information should be properly identified. Your submission should include organization name/address/point of contact and phone number.
