Description

The Bureau of Reclamation Snake River Area Office has a requirement for Alarm Equipment at the Minidoka Field Station in Rupert, Idaho. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format at FAR 12.6, as supplemented in accordance with the format included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. The Request for Quotes (RFQ) is being issued as 05SQ140034; and proposals including descriptive literature and the completed FAR 52.212-03 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, are due on May 03, 2005. The RFQ incorporates revisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-1. This is a total small business set aside. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation on or about May 06, 2005, that is most advantageous to the Government. Two (2) ea. - Siren:107 dBC @ 100' minimum; 3-phase, 480 volt AC 60 Hz, motor driven, omni-directional, with weather-proof starter, with roof mount (comparable or equal to Federal Signal Model STH10-480P with RC5W starter and roof stand RMS-G or Edwards Signaling and Security Systems EWS-V1-3 with EWS-MS-V1-3-W) ; b) Eighteen (18) ea. Indoor Horn/Strobe: 24 VDC operated, 90 dBa at 10', clear lens with 110 cd light output, surface mount ( comparable or equal to Edwards Signaling & Security 867STR (C) -AQ or Wheelock Signals Inc. Model HS4-24MCWH-FW). The Contractor shall extend to the government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the government.
