Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation No. Q17730500010 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and will be awarded as a firm-fixed price Order for Commercial Items, using simplified acquisition procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 423320; the size standard is 100 employees. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-03. The solicitation items are as follows: (1) Provide and deliver 6,948 cubic yards of ? inch Bluestone with Fines. Project work will include private to supply and deliver ?" inch Bluestone with fines. Total delivery of 6,948 cubic yards of top quality Bluestones with fines to be delivered to Miller Field and Great Kills Park, Staten Island, NY. Vendor will meet with Government representative at Miller Field where Roads & Grounds Supervisor will indicate exact locations where bluestone will be delivered and stored. Selected areas will be delivered to Crooks Point parking lot, Harbor Road lot, Ball Field Parking lot off of Keegans Lane and various locations along Keegan Lane. Delivery to Miller Field will be at Hangar 38 parking lot and various locations identified by traffic cones. Company will call two days before any delivery is going to be made to the Roads & Grounds Supervisor. The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-01 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items FAR 52.212-02 Evaluation of Commercial Items (See evaluation criteria.) FAR 52.212-03 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items FAR 52.212-04 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items FAR 52.212-05 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items FAR 52.225-11 Buy American Act - Construction Materials Under Trade Agreements FAR 52.204-07 Central Contractor Registration FAR 52.232-34 Payment by electronic Funds Transfer - Other than Central Contractor Registration. Evaluation Critera: Vendors must demonstrate the ability to meet the needs outlined should be able to demonstrate that material can be delivered on time in a healthy state. For this solicitation, vendors wishing to respond to this RFQ should provide this office with the following: A price quote on company letterhead for the requested items showing unit price, delivery time after receipt of order, payment terms, correct remittance address; provide three customer references, and vendors must complete Representations and Certifications - Commercial by going to the web site: http://orca.bpn.gov. The offeror agrees to hold the prices in the offer firm for 30 calendar days from the date specified for the receipt of offers.
