Description
"This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command." The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to award a sole source modification to contract N00178-00-C-3002 to Sentel Corporation, 225 Reniekers Lane, Alexandria, VA, 22314, to increase the contract ceiling $2,300,000.00 for the purpose of continuation of services through 30 September 2005 until a competitive follow-on contract can be awarded. As part of the modification the term of the contract will be extended from 28 June 2005 through 30 September 2005. The Frequency Management Engineering Support services required under this contract support the following programs. The Automated Spectrum Planning, Engineering, Coordination, and Tracking System (ASPECTS), the Electromagnetic Compatibility Analysis Program (EMCAP) with it associated document / Electromagnetic Compatibility Criteria for Surface Weapon Systems (U) and the NATO Electromagnetic Operational Program (NEOP). In addition, a working knowledge of the operational interfaces with Radar Interferenc! e Prediction Program (RIPP), the Electromagnetic Environment Monitor (EMEM), the Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineering Program (EMCEP), the Global Command and Control System-Maritime (GCCS-M) Command and Control Warfare Commander Module, the Joint Spectrum Management System (JSMS) and the EMCAP Spectrum Occupancy Program (ESOP) is required. The tasks require the development of Fleet products under mandatory critical schedules. No source other than Sentel is considered to have the ability to meet the Navy?s minimum needs for quantity, quality, and schedule of services for the period of this modification.
