- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City, FL 32407 intends to solicit competitively for three(3) each Solid State Hard Disk Drives. Specifications for these drives are as follows: Media ? Flash Memory; Capacity ? 40gb; Interface ? IDE/ATA; data range ? 10 Mbytes/Sec Sustained; Dimensions ? 2.0 inch height maximum in a 3.5 inch IDE form factor; Input Voltage ? 5 Volts; Input Power ? 10 Watts maximum; 5 Watts or less average power; Operating Temperature ? 0 to +60 degrees centigrade; Storage Temperature ? 40 to +80 degrees centigrade; Encapsulation ? Circuit boards should be conformal coated (acrylic coating preferred over silicon). Data Security features as follows: secure erase capability ? drive must be capable of a complete secure erase to ?NSA 103-2? specification within 60 seconds of a dedicated signal line being pulled low, and self-powered erase capability ? drive must be capable of entering a low power mode upon loss of external power and must have its own i! nternal power source that can power a complete secure erase within 60 seconds of a dedicated signal line being pulled low. This self-powered standby mode should last for a minimum of 6 hours. When self-power drains to a pre-defined level, the drive should then secure-erase itself. Delivery will be to the Naval Support Activity Panama City, receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City Beach, FL 32407-7018. NAICS Code 334111 applies. SBA size standard is 1000.
