Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport (NUWC Division Keyport) is soliciting proposals under a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA), N00253-BAA01-05. NUWC Division Keyport is interested in proposals that provide Pilot MCM Test. It is intended to help stimulate discussion with NUWC Keyport and help to develop a Test plan and Statement of Work for the test activities. The goal of this effort will be to apply candidate technologies to scenarios of interest and determine the performance of the systems to detect potential mine shapes, perform change detection, and classify contracts. Under this Broad Agency Announcement, contracts will be awarded to those contractors who are determined technically acceptable. Proposals must include the following: Offerors are requested to provide Descriptive Literature/Commercial brochures that are typically provided ! for commercial sector bidding with their quote. Descriptive literature means information furnished by an offeror, such as cuts, illustrations, drawings, and brochures, that shows a product's characteristics or construction or explains its operation. The term includes only that information required to evaluate the acceptability of the services/product to be performed. Descriptive literature is required for the purpose of evaluation, details of the services that: 1) Demonstrate mapping capabilities or interface with existing ISIS, SONARWIZ, or SONARWEB software packages or demonstrate the offeror has their own which is able to display the data. 2) Demonstrate the resolution of the sonar. 3) Demonstrate how fast they system can be towed at or operated at. The Review and Selection Process will ensure impartial, equitable, comprehensive evaluation of all proposals and to select the offers who meet the Governments technical and policy goals. Proposals may be accepted, and aw! ards made resulting from this announcement, through 15 MAY 2005. Initial awards may be placed within 3 days after the issuance date of this announcement. No minimum or maximum number of awards can be guaranteed.
