Description
NOTE; SOLICITATION HSCG40-05-R-60027 AND HSCG40-05-R-60027-1 ARE ONE IN THE SAME. The U. S. Coast Guard has a requirement to establish a program to overhaul various Motoren- and Turbinen-Union (MTU) Accessories used on the MTU Main Propulsion Engines, Model 8V396 TE94 installed on the 87? Coast Guard WPB Vessels. The accessories consist of: 2950-12-347-2010, Turbo, ?A? Bank, P/N 5100203205, Qty. 10 per year, 2950-12-347-2009, Turbo, ?B? Bank, P/N 5100205005, Qty. 10 per year, 2815-12-345-1076, Cylinder Head, P/N 5550105241, Qty. 60 per year, 2920-12-156-2556, Engine Starter, P/N 0031515501, Qty. 8 per year, 2930-12-344-4606, Coolant Pump, P/N 5582000501, Qty. 8 per year, 2930-12-344-4810, Sea Water Pump, P/N 5552002201, Qty. 11 per year, 2815-01-F05-0396, Intercooler, P/N 0030986020, Qty. 6 each per year, 2910-12-344-4095, Fuel Injection Pump, P/N 0280740502, Qty. 4 per year, 2930-12-344-4608, Core, Radiator, P/N 8690980170, Qty. 4 per year, 2990-12-347-0620, Governor, P/N 5275303254/89, Qty. 6 per year, 2990-12-348-0785, Control, Electronic, P/N 5275300184, Qty. 4 per year, 5998-12-353-7854, Electr. Comp. Assy., P/N 5275302238, Qty. 4 per year. This will be an Other Than Full and Open Competition Requirement using Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) MTU parts only. All labor shall be performed by MTU certified and authorized machinist, mechanics and technicians. The contractor shall maintain an inspection system which shall ensure that each item offered to the Coast Guard for acceptance and approval conforms to the contract requirements of ANSI/ASQC-Q-9003-1994 and be available for review by the Coast Guard. Delivery of the completed accessories due 45 days after receipt of government property from the Coast Guard. Delivery to be made to the U. S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. The Contractor shal provide a warranty for a period of 6 months following 1 year in storage. Warranty shall commence the date a Coast Guard vessels installs the assembly. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be posted on FEDBIZOPS when issued. Contractors are encouraged to check FEDBIZOPS on a regular basis for the solicitation and any amendments. See Numbered Notes 12, 22 & 26.
