Description
Statement of Work DISA CONUS Removal of Non-Load Bearing Walls Services, Non-personal: This requirement is required to remove non-load bearing walls in building 3189 in rooms #27, A & B, #46, and #52 for the continued expansion of DISA CONUS and it?s mission. Work address is 604 Tyler Street Scott AFB, IL. 62265. Contractor shall be required to furnish all labor, tools, equipment, material, and supervision related to this requirement. Contractor shall be required to work during non-standard duty hours in an effort to limit disruptions to the DISA CONUS in-house work force. Plastic dust barriers must be temporarily installed to immunize/restrict the movement of dirt and dust from spreading throughout the remaining work area. Contractors must provide their own dumpsters to dispose of all associated refuse/waste material. The portion of the walls, which remains, shall be left with a smooth professional finish and painted to match the existing interior color i.e. ?studio gray?. In the areas where walls are removed contractor shall be required to cut to fit all carpet squares and ceiling titles to match existing carpet and pattern ceiling grid. All communication connections located in the walls to be removed must be coiled and place them in the ceiling. All electrical circuits located in the walls to be removed, are to be traced to the electrical panel for identification and termination. If it is determined that it is a shared circuit which provides electrical power to other components, make a note on modification drawings and inform the DISA CONUS Facility Manager. (See drawing for actual room layout) During the performance of this structural requirement any electrical outages must be planned and scheduled through the facility manager. Electrical outages will only be approved between 1800/2300 Hours. Contractor must identify, in detail, in a written technical proposal: o Proposed technical solution for all line items listed for the proposed requirement for the removal/repair of all non-load bearing walls identified in this SOW. o Proposed start date (NLT 18 April 05) and completion date (NLT 30 May 05). o Request that all work be under covered warrantees for a period of not less than one year. All work must be accomplished IAW all local, state, and federal guidelines, policies, procedures. Customer desires work to be completed and services operational no later than 30 May 05. All work must be accomplished during non-standard duty hours between the hours of 4:00 PM and 11:00 PM Monday through Friday unless other wise communicated and accepted by the DISA CONUS Facility Manager.
