Description

Solicitation number SB1341-05-Q-0526 dated April 13, 2005 is hereby amended to respond to vendor questions submitted and extend the due date for quotes. Question: What is the anticipated delivery for this requirement? Answer: Delivery is required before September 30, 2005. Question: What are your anticipated specifications for purity, appearance, solubility, etc.; determined by what method (s)? Answer: The products we require shall already be in solution, therefore, appearance and solubility are not an issue. Product shall be certified purity by GC-MS. Since NIST will be using GC-MS to measure our reference spectra 90 percent or better purity is sufficient. Question: Are you seeking a single vendor for all 71 items? Answer: The Government is seeking to award one order for all the required product. Question: Are these to be used as reference standards? For GC, HPLC, GC MS, or other? Answer: These are to be used to measure GC retention indices and mass spectra for the NIST Mass Spectral Database. Question: Will this be a one time requirement or possibly an on-going need? Answer: This is a one time requirement. Question: What are your packaging requirements? Answer: No special packaging is required. Question: Each mentions a 50 ug/mL solution. In what solvent (s)? Answer: Nonane or any other compatible volatile solvent is acceptable. The due date for quotes has been extended to April 26, 2005 @ 3pm local time.
