Description

Provide all labor, equipment, and materials at the for the construction of a new Modular Building (observatory) at the Table Mountain Field Site, T2, Boulder, CO, and the BAO Erie site in Erie, CO. The T2 work site is located at the NOAA T2 Observatory Building approximately one and one half miles from Boulder on State Highway 7 and Plateau. The elevation at this site is approximately 5,564 feet above sea level. Both sites shall include the construction of 20 foot wide x 30 foot long (600 square feet useable inside) single story new modular building with roof mounted instrument platform and access stair, new cistern water system, new septic and leach field, asphalt paving of the site access road and parking area, reinforced concrete foundation, and all associated site and utilities work. The work also includes the demolition of an existing 20 foot wide by 30 foot long trailer and the associated concrete pier foundation at the BAO site. The entire work shall be completed ready for use not later than 210 calendar days after the contractor receives Notice to Proceed. A bid guarantee in the amount of 20% of the bid price, and performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the bid price are required. The estimated price range of this procurement is between $250,000 and $500,000. Requests may be faxed to 303-497-3163 and must reference the solicitation number RA1330-05-RB-1033.
