Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 19 is seeking small business sources with GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract capable of providing voice recognition software and services necessary to perform medical and radiology transcription services to participating VA Medical and Health Care Centers within VISN 19. This sources sought is not an intent to purchase a voice recognition equipment. System must be able to perform traditional transcription service, transcriptionist editing of a voice recognition file, and 100% voice recognition/self-edit transcription. System software must be of a type supported be VA Information Resource Management (IRM). Currently VA does not support any Class 3 type software). If you are a source capable of providing this voice recognition/transcription service please respond to this sources sought synopsis with your company information, a description of the system, literature and pricing information. This is a request for product information only! This is not a request for proposal (RFP). The VA will not pay for information received. No contract award will be made on the basis of responses received; however, the information may be used in VA?s assessment of capable sources. Faxed responses are permitted. Questions concerning this announcement must be in writing and may be submitted via email to Danny.Freeman@med.va.gov. Requests for copies of a solicitation shall not be honored or acknowledged. Information should be forwarded to the Contracting Officer by May 11, 2005. VA shall review information from which a requirement may or may not result.
