Description

The item being procured is the Sampling Kit, CBR Agent M34A1 using a performance specification. The Sampling Kit consists of a case, sewn fabric, web strap, various plastic vials in compartment cases, instruction cards, over-gloves, forms, scoops, h eavy duty scissors, draw string bags, tweezers, liquid syringes w/extension tubes and various other small commercial items. This is a 5-year requirement type contract consisting of five ordering periods. Requirements will be various quantities over the 5 year ordering periods. FOB is destination. Estimated issue date is 16 May 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may do wnload it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, th e Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments that may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. This solicitation is unrestricted. INSPECT ION AND/OR TESTING REQUIRED TO BE PERFORMED FOR THE SAMPLING KIT, CBR AGENT M34A1 WILL REQUIRE TESTING WITH CHEMICAL SURETY MATERIAL (CSM) AND MUST BE CONDUCTED IN A FACILITY APPROVED BY THE U.S. ARMY.
