- Sources Sought Notice For Homeport Training in Surface Fire Fighting and Damage Control Training To Navy Personnel Stationed in the Pacific Northwest Fleet Concentration Area. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division is seeking potential sources to provide Instructional Support for Homeport Training in Surface Fire Fighting and Damage Control training for Naval personnel stationed in the Bremerton, Washington Fleet Concentration Area. Sources must be certified and accredited vendors capable of providing the required instruction for Navy training courses. General Requirement: The contractor will be responsible for providing the personnel, supervision, management, materials and consumables (less OBA canisters), facilities and equipment, and instructional technology needed to conduct training of Navy and civilian personnel in the following courses: General Shipboard Fire Fighting (J-495-0412) General Shipboard Fire Fighting-Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) (A-495-0416) Shipboard Fire fighting Team Training (J-495-0418) Advanced Shipboard Fire Fighting Training (J-495-0419) General Shipboard Damage Control Training (K-495-0045) The vendor shall provide the facilities and demonstrate the ability to training fire fighting personnel to extinguish Alfa, Bravo, and Charlie Class fires in accordance with standard Navy policy and procedures and in a live fire environment. Additionally, the vendor shall be able to provide training in limited visibility scenarios using smoke generation. Businesses capable of accomplishing the required services are invited to submit the following: 1. Company literature, brochures, or capability summaries. 2. Business size (i.e. large business, small business, small disadvantage business, 8(a) certified business, woman owned business, etc). The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 611519 with a size standard of $6.0 million. Identification of business size should be included on the cover page of your submission. 3. Past and or current performance (limited to the last 3 years) on similar contracts, including dollar value, complexity and point of contact information.
