- Customs and Border Protection Yuma Sector has a requirement for the following direction finding equipment. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NACIS code is 334511 A highly mobile platform for locating and direction finding radio signals. The equipment will have to be self-contained complete with antennas that will access the full range of the two-way radio spectrum. The equipment will also need to be compatible for deployment in an airplane or helicopter platform. The equipment will also need to be compatible with Basic Universal Mobile Direct Finding software (FCC Software). The accuracy would need to be in the +- 1 degree range. RS-232C interface compatible for connection to laptop and the equipment would also have to have a GPS interface as well for connection to a GPS. The equipment would also need to have a 10.7 MHz IF output for connection to spectrum display.
