- Description
- This project includes reconstructing three picnic areas (Martin, Roadhouse and Echo) in the North Fork of American fork Canyon on the Pleasant Grove Ranger District of the Uinta National Forest. In general work will include removal and disposal of existing structures; construction staking; clearing and grubbing; project site preparation and grading; construction of 7 paved parking areas, 1,450 feet of paved path, 12 single and 3 double family picnic pads including concrete pad, 18 tables, 15 fire circles, and 15 pedestal grills; water distribution system construction including 617 feet of water distribution lines, 5 hydrants and associated pipe sleeves, valves and drains; and furnishing and installation of barrier rocks and traffic control signs. Project will include a Base bid item with two options. The project has a Government estimate between $100,000 ? $250,000. The approximate posting date for the solicitation (RFP) and applicable drawings / maps will be 15 April 2005 to this same website. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for 4 May 2005 at 10:30 a.m. local time. See solicitation for exact time, date and location. All interested contractors are encouraged to attend. The start date for project is anticipated to be 6 September 2005. All responsible vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database and have proper bonding capability before being eligible to accept an award. You may register at www.ccr.gov. ***** Response date is 16 May 2005 @ 4:30 p.m.***********************************************The purpose of this modification to the synopsis is to remove the small business set-aside and open the solicitation to an unrestricted basis.
