Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, is seeking a contractor to furnish labor and materials to construct a new maintenance facility approximately 5,000 square feet, maintenance yard, a new public restroom building approximately 1,000 square feet, demolition of the existing maintenance garage, and related site work and utilities at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery, near El Paso, Texas, as shown on the plans and specifications. This is a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). A pre bid conference will be conducted on May 19, 2005, at 11:00 AM local time. A walk through can be conducted at 10:00 AM (one hour prior to the pre bid conference). The physical location of Fort Bliss National Cemetery is: 5200 Fred Wilson Road, Fort Bliss TX 79906. The period of performance is 510 days from the issuing of the Notice to Proceed. The issue date of this solicitation will be on or about May 10, 2005. The NAICS Code for this project is 236220 and the size standard is $28.5 Million. The magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000.
