- The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center?s Aircraft Accessories Commodities Council, (AACC), is following up on its Industry Day held 22 March 05. Numerous spirals are contemplated to achieve our strategic goals. AACC is searching initially for 8a vendors with the capability to perform repair, overhaul, modification and integration of aircraft components within our 13 Federal Stock Classes. AACC is also searching for 8a vendors with the capability to perform spares acquisitions. The 13 FSCs are; 1650, 1660, 1680, 3010, 3020, 3030, 3040, 4320, 4710, 4720, 4730, 4810 and 4820. 8a vendors should be able to describe their ability to manage the supply chain which includes the manufacture, repair and/or acquisition of the aircraft components. Vendor should be able to show relationship with other small and large business and provide insight into how, when working with others; they can achieve aircraft component manufacture, repair and/or acquisition. Vendor may be required to oversee the day-to-day management of these aircraft components, perform joint forecasting, perform engineering services, manage obsolescence issues, locate and assist in the qualification of suitable sources, assist their subcontractors in obtaining qualifications and performing actual manufacture, repair, and/or acquisition of aircraft components IAW ?Limitation of Subcontracting?
