Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, can be considered approved sources for this item. All responsible source proposals received within 30 days of the solicitation issuance will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. ITEM DESCRIPTION FOR LINE ITEM 0001: Circuit Card Assembly standardized plug in module with electronic components 1 transformer, 18 diodes, 9 transistors, 24 resistors and 17 capacitors on a printed circuit board, made of various metals and plastics. Approx 4.6 in. wide X 4.4 in. long X .3 thick, Applicable to: F5 Destination: DJO002 Estimated Qty: 2 EA Due Date: June 2006 ITEM DESCRIPTION FOR LINE ITEM 0002: Circuit Card Assembly standardized plug in module with electronic components 1 transformer, 18 diodes, 9 transistors, 24 resistors and 17 capacitors on a printed circuit board, made of various metals and plastics. Approx 4.6 in. wide X 4.4 in. long X .3 thick, Applicable to: F5 Destination: DJO002 Estimated Qty: 10EA Due Date: June 2006 The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 06 May 2006. The response date will be approximately 30 days after the issuance. The anticipated award date will be 05 July 2006. Written and electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government?s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
