Description
SYSTEMS ENGINEERING SUPPORT TO FEDERAL AGENCIES SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE The US Army Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM), Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC), Combatant Commander Interoperability Office (CIPO) is conducting an industry survey for Systems Engineer ing Support to Federal Agencies. CIPO provides extensive integration, engineering and development support as well as prototyping, system integration, program management, deployment, and logistics support as required by various Federal agencies. Sources will be expected to provide on-site program management, engineering, technical and logistics support in the Washington D.C vicinity. This systems engineering support effort includes, but is not limited to: program management, requirements definiti on, technology insertion, systems development and procurement, systems integration, installation and maintenance, fabrication, testing, evaluation, certification, studies and analysis, technical data management, configuration management, operations, mainte nance and logistics support, training, acquisition support and procurement assistance. This request for information (RFI)/sources sought (SS) notice is for information and planning purposes only, and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on part of the US Army RDECOM. The purpose of this RFI/SS is to identify potential sources that may be interested in and capable of performing the work described herein. US Army RDECOM does not intend to award a contract on the basis of responses nor otherwise pay for the preparation of any information submitted or for the use of such information. Electronic acknowledgement of receipt of responses will be made. SUBMISSION: Responses to this RFI should be submitted no later than 12:00 am EDT on 2 May 2005. An electronic version in Adobe Acrobat or Microsoft Word can be provided to Major(S) Berton T. Sanders, USAF (bert.sanders@us.army.mil) and Capt James Dentice, USAF (james.dentice@us.army.mil).
