Description

The U.S. Army HQ, Army Field Support Command (HQ, AFSC) is seeking interested sources for the proposed procurement of M804A1 Body Assembly. Current projected base quantity is 8,820 and options up to 150% will be included for years 2, 3 and 4. Manufa cture shall be in accordance with Technical Data Package List (TDPL) 19200 9331795. For this procurement the Government will be utilizing a Best Value approach with evaluations in areas including, but not limited to Technical/Management Capability, Past P erformance, Price and Small Business Utilization/Past Performance. Proposed method of procurement is restriction to the National Technology and Industrial Base (U.S./Canada) under the authority of FAR 6.302-3. The M804A1 Body Assembly is a thick walled f orged steel projectile body 155mm in diameter, 23.8 long and weighs 93.10 pounds. This market survey is for information and planning purposes only, does not constitute an RFP and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The North Americ an Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 332993. We are seeking all sources at this time. Any information provided by industry to the government as a result of this sources sought is voluntary. The government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this sources sought. The government requests interested parties to submit a brief description of their company (business size, business status i.e., small business, service disabled veteran owned, disadvantaged, HUB zone, woman-owned) and a description of similar services offered to the government and to commercial customers. Acknowledgement of receipt will not be issued, nor will respondents be notified of the results of the evaluation of the data received. Responses are required by 4:00 PM EST on 6 May 2005.
