Description: The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of Service- Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns to provide Environmental Remediation Services as a Service Provider for Northwestern Division, Omaha District and their customers. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS ) code is 562910, Environmental Remediation Services, size standards to determine small business is 500 employees. The industry comprises establishmen ts primarily engaged in one or more of the following: (1) remediation and cleanup of contaminated buildings, mine sites, soil, or ground water, (2) integrated mine reclamation activities, including demolition, soil remediation, waste water treatment, hazar dous material removal, contouring land, and revegetation; and (3) asbestos, lead paint, and other toxic material abatement. Potential services may include, but is not limited to work related to: preparation of work plans, performance of investigation an d field studies, Resource Conservation & Recovery Act (RCRA), Facility Investigations (RFI), monitoring well installation and sampling, short and long term monitoring, compliance support in accordance with the Clean Air Act and Safe Drinking Water Act, dat a management, data interpretation, management of investigative derived waste, environmental and human health risk assessments, well abandonment, public meeting participation, hydrological and soil studies, engineering support and/or design including Operat ions and Maintenance for HTRW sites, ordnance explosive (OE) removal design and execution at OE sites, remedial action plans, remedial action, site closeout/decision documents, future project programming and scheduling, Cultural and Natural Resources Conse rvation, NEPA, Endanger Species Act, underground storage tanks (UST), studies, removal, and inspection. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns with an interest, qualifications and capability to provide services consistent with the abov e NAICS, descriptions and requirements must provide demonstrated and documented past performance and qualifications. Existing and potential Joint-Ventures, Mentor-prot?g? Agreement and formal teaming arrangements are acceptable and encouraged. Informatio n must include, as a minimum: 1) Business size and type (include certifications of Section 8(a) Small and Disadvantaged Business and HubZone status); 2) A listing of available technical expertise (and abbreviated resumes) available to execute work; 3) Des cription and location of Environmental Remediation Service projects. Please indicate your role in the project as a Prime, Subcontractor or Supplier. The project description should include the contract number(s), value of contract, and the name and teleph one number of the customer (and Contracting Officer, if a Government contract).
