Description

The Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS)Europe Procurement Office contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract pursuant to the authority set forth at FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". The purposed contract represents a "follow-on" award action for continued implementation of the Hessen Model Schools Partnership program, an ongoing research-based technology project specifically designed to assist DoDDS educators in using cutting-edge technology in the classroom environment. Technology infrastructure is implemented from a phase-in approach for up to 25 schools within the Heidelberg District (Germany) by Open Systems Technology, LLC (OST) via five separate and continuously developed Models: School Based Community Planning, Comprehensive Professional Development Plan, Connections Between Content and Technology,Family and Community Participation, and Continuation of the Research Model. All intellectual property and data rights applicable to developmental implementation are solely owned by OST. Contract award is anticipated o/a 01 Aug 05, which includes a base year and four one-year option periods. Interest and capability of meeting the Government's requirement must be submitted in written format not later than 10 calendar days after publication of this notice. See Numbered Note 22.
