Description

This is a modification to the previous combined synopis/solicitation for the Bender Set. The response time is extended to May 3, 2005, 5:30 p.m. Central Daylight Time. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;quotes are being req uested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation, W52H09-05-T-0282, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-02, effective March 23, 2005. This requirement is for a Bender Set, Tool Hand, NSN: 5120-01-088-7803, (reference Army drawing 13321E6823, Exhibit B) with a minimum guaranteed quantity of 25, maximum contract quantity of 400. To be considered for award, you must complete the pricing sheet (Exhibit A). The order quantity ranges are established to permit different unit prices for each range. You must enter a unit price for each of the five ordering periods. For use on the F/Hydr aulic System Test and Repair Unit (HSTRU). This award will be issued as a Firm Fixed Price, 5-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). Shipment will be FOB Destination to New Cumberland, PA. The Government will award a contract resulting fr om this solicitation to the responsible low offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The following provisions (Addendum 1) apply to this Acquisition: 52.232-18, Availability of Funds; 52.212-1, Instru ctions to Offerors-Commercial; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (a copy of this provision shall be completed and submitted with the offer); 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Item; and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items along with the additional FAR clauses cited under paragraph (b) 1,14,15,16, 17, 18, 19, 26, 36, 37,38. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Gov ernment intends to solicit as Full and Open. All exhibits and clauses 52.212-1 and 52.212-3, etc can be obtained from the following website:https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm as will any amendments. Quoters/offerors are required to submit t heir quotes for this combined synopsis/solicitation via electronic response on the TACOM-RI Business Opportunities, open solicitation web page, or via fax to 309-782-247. Quotes/offers to the Government shall be signed by a Member of the firm authorized t o bind the company. This in in accordance with Federal acquisition Regulation (FAR)4.102. CAUTION: Since this combined synopsis/solicitation and any future amendmens are being issued through Fed Biz Ops, it is incumbent upon any interested parties to pe riodically access Fed Biz Ops in order to obtain any amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote non-responsive and result in reje cion of your quote.
