Description

Telecommunication maintenance and follow-on services for existing telecommunication system, to include but not limited to instruments, cable plant, battery backup, system alarms and all interfaced ancillary systems (voice mail, automated attendant, automatic call distribution, etc.). Services will also include telephone system security, documentation, inventory control, routine/preventive maintenance schedule, and establishment of a seven day, twenty-four hour contact center for emergency, routine maintenance and follow-on service. Work includes performing Moves, Adds, Changes (MAC). This procurement is set-aside for competition among women-owned small business firms and service-disabled veteran-owned small business firms only. Offerors must be bona-fide companies dealing in digital and voice PBX telephone systems with systems being maintained within the continental United States. The maintenance and follow-on services under consideration shall be contracted on the basis of one supplier providing all services in the specification including maintenance, and any follow-on service at the site for the term of the contract. The proposal request package will only be available on the Web. Written correspondence concerning this procurement must be sent to the Contracting Officer at the Department of Veterans Affairs, 1335 East-West Highway, 3rd Floor, Silver Spring, MD 20910. The date for receipt of initial proposals is 2:00 PM EDST, May 26, 2005.
